Having lived in the neighborhood for over 15 years, I’ve followed both the successes and struggles of East Meck High School. As a public school advocate, I have volunteered and worked countless hours to help ensure that the triumphs outweigh the hardships. Throughout the years, I have been most inspired by the level of support offered by the alumni of East Meck High School. Alumni from every decade since the school opened in 1950 hold their Alma Mater in the highest esteem. Their love of East Meck goes far beyond nostalgia. I am so honored to work with people who are so dedicated to the success of their high school long after they graduate. Working together, we can all continue to grow East Meck and be a model for high school foundations across the state and the country.
